In Abu Dhabi, the project drew on the pearl-diving heritage — once the foundation of the Emirates’ prosperity — translating it into shimmering mother-of-pearl façades on Al Reem Island. As an architectural expression of heritage, these iridescent surfaces honor the courage of the region’s pearl divers and connect the building’s contemporary form to a timeless Gulf tradition.
